This week the astrology gets personal (and public)
Hello beautiful soul!
So, we're a few days into Neptune entering Aries, just before Saturn does the same, and right in the middle of what I'm calling the liminal weeks.
On Feb 1st we had a Full Moon at 13° Leo, and TODAY Uranus stations direct in Taurus. And I need us to pay attention to what's happening in our bodies this week, because the astrology is asking a question we can't actually avoid anymore.
Here's the setup:
One Full Moon in Leo. Alone on one side of the sky.
Five planets in Aquarius stacked on the other side: Sun, Venus, Mercury, Mars, Pluto. All of them saying "think beyond yourself, serve the collective, this moment is bigger than your feelings."

And that Leo Moon is just trying to be seen. Trying to matter. Trying to feel like showing up as yourself still counts for something.
So what does it feel like when your need for individual recognition runs headfirst into a collective moment demanding you get over yourself?
That's not rhetorical. I actually want you to feel that in your body.
Because this Full Moon is your first dramatic taste of themes we're going to be working with through the entire Leo-Aquarius eclipse series ahead. This is the introduction. The preview. The "okay so this is what we're dealing with" moment.
And the question underneath all of it is this: Are you TRULY expressing your soul, or are you just begging for approval?
Then we have Uranus stationing direct in Taurus on February 3rd.
Uranus has been retrograde since September, which means the shocks to our sense of security, the wake-up calls around resources and safety and who gets to feel stable in their body, all of that has been happening internally. Private reckonings. Quiet realizations that the ground isn't as solid as we thought.
Now it goes direct. And what was internal becomes external. What was a personal reckoning becomes a collective confrontation.
I keep thinking about the Four of Pentacles, this figure clutching coins so tight they can't even move anymore. Christopher Marmolejo describes it as someone who's "sacrificed mobility, embodied agency, for material reward." Someone who's confused what was entrusted to them with something they own.

Your nervous system already knows what's shifting. The question is what you're going to do with that information.
Are you going to grip tighter? Or are you going to ask yourself: what have I been holding onto that was never actually mine to keep?
I made a full video breakdown of this week's astrology because there's a lot more here than I can fit in an email, the Leo evolutionary wound and what's actually being asked of us, the Aquarius demand and how it can turn into its own kind of conformity, the embodied practices for working with Uranus direct, and the questions to carry forward that don't resolve neatly.
The video goes deep on the tension between individual heart and collective need, and how we hold both without collapsing into either performance or self-erasure.
