Your Nervous System Isn't Broken. The World Is | Scorpio New Moon Nov 19
There’s a heaviness in the air right now that isn’t yours alone. I want to start there, because too many people are walking around wondering why their nervous system feels frayed, electric, restless. And the truth is simple. You’re not malfunctioning. You’re responding to a world that’s breaking its own illusions in real time.
Tonight into the morning of the 20th, we get a New Moon in Scorpio at 28 degrees. The final degree. The degree that decides whether the poison becomes medicine or finishes its work. A lot of folks will tell you to manifest abundance or journal your shadows. I’m not here to disrespect ritual, but this moment is asking for something deeper. Something honest.
This lunation is a triple stack. Sun, Moon, Mercury retrograde all in the same degree. Mercury sits in the heart of the Sun. That’s revelation. That’s confession. That’s everything buried finally coming up for air. Secrets stop being secrets when Scorpio reaches this point in its cycle. It becomes purification through exposure.
And across the chart, Uranus waits at 29 degrees of Taurus. Also the final degree. Survival, money, safety, the body. Taurus is the ground under your feet, and Uranus shakes anything you assumed was solid. So we have death and revelation staring down collapsing structures of comfort and control. Power versus safety. Control versus survival. Your truth versus their agenda.

And still, this chart isn’t here to drown you though. There’s a Grand Water Trine pulling our emotions into movement. Daddy Saturn & Neptune in Pisces, Jupiter in Mama Bear Cancer, with a dash of Scorpio’s own intensity. Our grief has an emotional outlet with this new moon. Nothing is stagnant unless you force it to be.
And hovering over all of this is Venus. She rules the decan of this Moon. The decan called mortal beauty. The decan that whispers the truth we try to ignore. What you love will end. What you cling to will change shape. When you face that nothing is permanent, you finally see what’s worth holding.
In tarot, this decan belongs to the Seven of Cups.

Illusion, temptation, projection, false desire. The shiny thing that looks like salvation but rots from the inside out. This New Moon asks you to stand in front of your own Seven Cups and asks: which one is poison dressed up as comfort? Which one have I been drinking from because I was afraid to be thirsty for the truth?
And your body already knows the answer. That’s the part I need you to trust.
Your nausea, tension, irritability, exhaustion, hypervigilance, ALL OF IT is sacred data. Your nervous system is reading the collective field. It's tracking it all.
And still, mainstream astrology keeps tells us to take a ritual bath, to charge our crystals when the world is literally on fire. I mean sure, baths are lovely and all but Scorpio rules shared resources, death, debt, power structures. This lunation isn’t about journaling your ex. This is about noticing where you’re complicit, where you’re exhausted, where you’re lying to yourself, where you’ve been drinking from cups that were never meant to nourish you.
This Moon asks: what needs to die so something truer can live?
So how do you work with this energy?
- Name what your body is actually feeling instead of gaslighting yourself into calm.
- Look at your Seven Cups and choose with discernment.
- Acknowledge what is ending, even if you wanted it to last.
- Let grief move through you with others. Grief is relational.
- Find your people. Jupiter in Cancer reminds us we regulate through community, not isolation.
We’re standing at a doorway between worlds.
The old world is dying. The new one hasn’t arrived. Scorpio knows this liminal space. It builds resilience here.
Trust and believe that your nervous system isn’t broken. You’re wide awake. Emotional honesty and integrous action are your first steps!
If you want to understand how this New Moon lands specifically in your chart, I recorded a personalized Scorpio New Moon horoscopes for your rising sign. Sit with it. Let it speak to you through sensation as much as thought.
And if you want to go deeper with me, I’m hosting a virtual New Moon workshop on November 20th at 4pm PST, 7pm EST. We’re gathering as a community to ground, to name what’s rising, and to work with this energy in a way that’s honest and embodied.
If this Moon is stirring something in you, you don’t need to navigate it alone.
I’ll see you there.
With love,
Daníel
