What if awakening is the only revolution left...

Hey love,

Oof! I've been rereading A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle like it's a field manual for what we're living through. And worw, every page feels louder now.

The world's burning. Also rebuilding. Sometimes in the same hour. The noise is endless. Our feeds never sleep. And beneath it all, something ancient in us is trying to wake up.

Our everyday rituals couldn't be more predictable. We scroll, consume, react, repeat. Our nervous systems are cooked. Our hearts are on standby. All the while the mind narrates every moment, chasing a sense of control that never comes. Tolle calls this ego. But I think it's bigger than that. It's effects of a colonized mind...that same hunger to dominate, to be right, to survive by outshining everything else and forcefully asserting privilege to control a population.

And the astrology of the times aluddes to the amplification of evolutionary need to decolonize the spirit.

  • Pluto in Aquarius is breaking that illusion apart.
  • Very soon, Neptune in Aries will be stripping our egoic stories & attachments to the bone.
  • This most recent Aries Full Moon shook every false identity loose.

In many way, A New Earth hits different now. Tolle is naming the root sickness of our age. The way our attention has become a resource to exploit. The way our egos disguise themselves as virtue, achievement, even activism. And this existential threat we're all feeling couldn't be more pressing. Becuase the moment we automate our presence is the moment the machine wins.

But equally, every time you return to awareness, the system loses power. Every time you pause before reacting, you unplug a little more from the circuitry of fear. Every time you speak from your center instead of your wound, you catch a glimpse of what's possible.

Not out there. Not in the external. But in the invisible space between thought and awareness. In the breath that remembers. In the eyes that choose to actually see.

That's why A New Earth feels so urgent. It's manual for repair and necessary evolution. Exploring human consciousness isn't some luxury. It's survival at work. The kind of work that decides how we meet each other in a time that keeps asking us to pick sides or defend an identity instead of inhabiting our humanity.

With this book, the future doesn't feel so abstract. It feels alive. The realm of possibilty is cracked wide open and that's why I chose it for this month's Book Club.

If you've been craving a space to slow down, to read something that wakes your soul instead of numbing it, join us!

We're gathering for Book Club to explore A New Earth together. Not to analyze it, but to practice it. To sit with each other, to deeply ask ourselves what awakening looks like when the world is on fire. How do we hold our awareness long enough to turn it into change?

Together we'll read, breathe, and remember. This is how we sustain our awakening journies. THIS is how we stay human inside the storm.

Hope to see you there,
DanĂel

what does she want now (Cancer New Moon)
Hi friend, When I was a kid, my family kept an open door. Whatever you need, they would say, come on over, just ask, “sin pena,” they would say. And I believed them, until I started noticing the other half. Someone would come walking across the street toward our house, and I'd hear one of the adults mutter under their breath, “mira esta, what does she want now?” And then swing the door open a ...
look at me (Jupiter enters Leo)
Yesterday morning two people climbed out onto the needle of the Empire State Building, more than a quarter mile of open air under their shoes, and unfurled a black banner over the most watched city on earth. White letters: when the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace. (Jimi Hendrix) Then, up there on the spire with the wind and the helicopters and half of New York film...
the tired that was never yours (Capricorn Full Moon)
Some of the tiredness you're carrying this week isn't yours. I mean that almost literally, so stay close. You wake up a little before you meant to, and the list is already running. Before your feet are on the floor, before coffee, before you've even agreed to be awake, the weight of the whole day arrives ahead of you and settles onto your shoulders like a coat you put on without deciding to. An...
